Easter Sweet Treats

Special treats are nice for any Holiday occasion, and these Easter sweet treats are easy and fun to make.

Use these ideas for place settings or as a centerpiece, or to add to Easter baskets.

Several of these treats can be used for Easter classroom parties, or even a tea party.

Marshmallow Bunny

This tutorial shows you how to flatten a large marshmallow and cut a heart with a cookie cutter. Just use a bunny, chick, or egg cookie cutter instead. Buy the pink or chocolate marshmallows to make colorful shapes.

Marshmallow Bunny

Kids can use pink marshmallows and small candies to make this cute marshmallow bunny treat.

Chocolate Bunny Suckers - No Mold Required

Pipe melted chocolate onto an outline of a rabbit and use chocolate chips and icing to finish these chocolate bunny suckers. (My personal feeling is that white chocolate isn't chocolate, so I would melt REAL chocolate and use colorful candies for the eyes.)

Peppermint Patty Bunnies

Craft these easy Peppermint Patty bunnies to give to all your friends, with cardstock and inks or markers.

Easter Sweet Treats

Fill Easter cookie cutter shapes with melted candy melts (or fudge which you can decorate), to make Easter sweet treats.

Edible Nests

Use the Rice Krispie Treat recipe to make edible nests, substituting chow mein noodles for the Rice Krispies. After it hardens, fill with egg shaped candies and a Peep.

Chocolate Easter Egg Nests

Make chocolate Easter egg nests by melting chocolate and stirring in Rice Krispies. Spoon into cupcake papers and make an indentation in the middle. After it sets, add egg shaped candies.

Ice Cream Cone Basket

Fill ice cream cones with jelly beans or other Easter candy and add apple licorice stick for handle to make clever ice cream cone baskets.

Easter Basket Cupcake

Use ice cream waffle bowls to bake cupcakes in, then decorate to look like an Easter basket cupcake.

Chocolate Covered Peeps

Put sucker sticks in Peeps and dip in melted chocolate. Let harden. Eat or wrap chocolate covered Peeps in cellophane to give away.

Spring Chick Cupcakes

To make spring chick cupcakes, cover all but top of cupcake with frosting and add coconut feathers. Use red licorice or gumdrops for features.

Easter Carrots

Easter carrots are a non sugar treat. Fill disposable cake decorating bags with yellow Goldfish crackers and tie the top shut with green ribbon.

Rice Krispie Easter Eggs

Use the Rice Krispie Treat recipe to make these Easter eggs, and add decorations and food coloring. Use washed plastic eggs that are lightly buttered to mold them.

Easter Treat Holders

Bunny Kisses

Make this box and fill with chocolate kisses. Add feet to the sides, ears to the top, a tail, and a face. Cute bunny kisses treat idea.

Envelope Easter Bunny Basket

Make this easy envelope Easter bunny basket

Easter Bunny Wrapper

Make this fun Easter bunny wrapper for candy bars.

Easter Bunny Bundle

Use a large square paper napkin or paper towel, or a washcloth for this Easter bunny bundle. Wrap around candy or small gift, roll up, and tie at top, sticking ends up for ears. Simple and cute.

Laced Egg Treat Holders

To create laced egg treat holders, cut egg shapes from posterboard and clear vinyl. Punch holes around the edges and stitch half way around. Fill with candies and finish stitching shut.
