Some of the projects require getting started a few days ahead to allow for drying time for glue, paint, or dough crafts.

Valentine Bingo GAme

A Valentine Bingo game would be a great game for a classroom Valentine party.

Heart Wreath

Make hearts with strips of construction paper or cardstock and shape into hearts. Attach to each other to form a heart wreath. Cute idea.

Valentine Craft Prints

Valentine craft prints are clever ways to make heart prints to use for cards or wall hangings. Or you could add a child's photo to one.

Strip Paper Hearts

Cut paper strips in different lengths and colors and put together to make the pretty strip paper heart shown.

Folding Envelope Hearts

Crayon Hearts

Kids can have fun making wax-crayon shavings and spreading them on a sheet of waxed paper. An adult needs to do the next part: place a sheet of waxed paper over and iron until shavings have melted. Kids can cut crayon heart shapes.

Valentine Dangle Ornaments

Paint hearts or use colored foam hearts. Decorate with lace and embellish with glitter glue, then hang small hearts from the large one for Valentine dangle ornaments.

Paint and decorate an empty can, or decoupage hearts or flowers on it to make a Valentine can that can be filled with silk flowers or goodies.

Make easy festive heart-shaped button covers with red, white, and pink felt. Cut a vertical slit in the center of the heart to slip over a button.

Use hearts, beads and red string to make a heart necklace. Brush glue on the hearts and sprinkle on glitter for extra sparkle.

Open the two sides of a paperclip to form a heart shape. Link the hearts together to make a paperclip necklace. Use colored paperclips for a festive look.
